Child, Family & Prison Ministries is recognized as a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization by the Internal Revenue Service. Donations are tax deductible to the fullest extent allowed by law. Please check with your tax preparer for details. To be tax-exempt as an organization described in IRC Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code, an organization must be organized and operated exclusively for charitable, religious, educational, scientific, literary purposes, testing for public safety, fostering national or international amateur sports competition, and the prevention of cruelty to children or animals, and none of the earnings of the organization may inure to any private shareholder or individual. In addition, to maintain tax-exempt status, an organization may not attempt to influence legislation as a substantial part of its activities and it may not participate at all in campaign activity for or against political candidates.
